Order cancellations Need to cancel or change an order? Email info@shopamsa.com as soon as possible with your order number. Since orders are processed automatically, we can only cancel or modify an order before it ships — once it's left our warehouse, it'll need to go through the standard return process instead.

Caring for your AMSA piece Our garments are made from natural fibers — silk, cotton, wool, and viscose — using handloom and hand-finishing techniques, so they ask for a little more care than machine-made pieces:

• Dry clean recommended for most handloom and hand-block-printed pieces (Ajrakh, Banarasi tissue, Mashru)

• Do not iron hand-knit wool sweaters

• Steam iron is fine for the wool coat, trousers, and khadi cotton pieces

• Store folded in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight

Each garment comes with a care label specific to that piece — when in doubt, follow the label.

About the craft Every AMSA piece is handwoven, hand-knit, or hand-finished by artisans across India, working in traditions like Banarasi tissue weaving, Ajrakh block-printing, and Chikankari embroidery. If you'd like to learn more about the artisans and regions behind your piece, look for the provenance card included with your order — or just ask, we love talking about it.
